Mombo and Little Mombo Camps are situated on the edge of Chief’s Island in the Okavango Delta. These adjoining camps are built in and around the shade of some large mangosteen, ebony and fig trees, overlooking a floodplain teeming with wildlife.

Each camp has its own main living and dining area under thatch, a plunge pool, and there is a boma (outdoor enclosure) for delicious dinners under the stars. There is a small open-air gym, bar and an extra pool in between the two camps.

Mombo camp has nine, and Little Mombo three comfortably furnished, luxurious tented suites raised off the ground on wooden decks. Each suite has an en-suite bathroom, with indoor and outdoor showers.

This area is renowned for having the best big game viewing in Botswana. The sheer numbers and variety of large mammals in this area, all year round, defy description.
As the wildlife is so astounding, activities here are focused on morning and afternoon game drives in open 4×4 Land Rovers, with the possibility of sighting anything from elephant and buffalo to tiny steenbok, large numbers of herbivores, including black and white rhinos, and of course the large predators!
