Sabora is a delightful 1920s colonial style luxury tented camp overlooking a vast plain in the Grumeti Reserves concession of the western Serengeti.
In the dining tent delicious repasts are served on silver platters accompanied by fine wines. The lounge and bar are perfect places to sip a cocktail and gaze across the Plains. There also is a satellite television, DVD and ipod player and library. On the other side of the dining room is an elevated deck with a swimming pool. There is a separate gym, spa and yoga tent.
The camp comprises accommodates only 18 guests in nine elegant air conditioned tents, each with bedroom, en suite bathroom, outdoor shower, lounge and viewing deck. Each tent has a direct dial telephone line and wireless internet access, and a magnificent view across the Plains.
This is a perfect camp from late May until August when the Serengeti migration may pass through, and is a wonderful place to relax, enjoying the luxury and privacy, in the green season months from December to March.
